Isshinryu Karate is a combination of many different fighting forms combined to make up a lighting fast attack. This style of fighting is a much more contemporary style of fighting for on the street than the high kicks of basic karate. The main advantage of Isshinryu is the quickness in which the moves occur.

Isshinryu Karate states it main mission statement as perfecting yourself through mental as well as physical development. Isshinryu is a more of close in style fighting, meaning when in combat you are very close to your opponent. Because of this style of fighting, learning Isshinryu Karate is great for learning how to deal with fighting on the street, if the situation ever comes up.

Isshinryu Karate is usually thrown from a natural stance, which in turn maintains stability, does not use extra movement. This style of fighting is very deliberate which gives you advantages over slower more deliberate motion style fighting. Learning Isshinryu is great for people of all ages, because of the life lesson it will teach you as well as the protection you will get.
